One thing I personally cannot stand is when companies have ‘hidden fees’. Mortgage brokers are obliged to tell you their fees before work commences.
You wouldn’t spend time viewing properties that had no indication of price, so why should a mortgage broker be any different?
We’ll always confirm our fee after our initial meeting, if any fee is payable.
We do, yes.
It’s rarely an either/or situation – most mortgage brokers, whether they charge or do not charge, will receive a commission from the mortgage lender.
The good thing is that this allows us to charge our clients less, seeing as the lender covers a portion of our total remuneration, or to not charge clients at all.
Over the years, we have had a very strong focus on improving our systems and processes. Thankfully, our great team have been very patient and versatile in learning all new improvements over time.
With these improvements, comes time saving. This time saving allows us to process more cases, whilst still offering the same level of service.
As a result, we have passed this time saving onto our clients. Where we can process more cases with the same level of quality, we don’t need to charge fees in the majority of cases.
This has been the case from 22nd April 2025. This decision wasn’t made lightly, as we were conscious of making sure that the requirement to process more cases to keep the same level of income does not impact our outstanding service. However, we’re confident that we’ve made the right decision.
That said, don’t use us because we are fee free in most cases, use us because we’re good at what we do!
In some cases, we do still need to charge a fee, which would range from £299 to £999. This can range from low loan amounts to complex income.
Any fees would be confirmed after your first meeting with your adviser, before any work is carried out, so that you can make a decision on whether we’re right for you.

As a mortgage is secured against your home or property, it may be repossessed if you do not keep up the mortgage repayments. Think carefully before securing any other debts against your home or property. The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate commercial buy to lets and some forms of commercial mortgages. You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you re-mortgage
We typically charge between £0 to £999 for our services, which is dependent on the type of application and amount of administration required. Please refer to our terms of business for further information.
